BESM Campaigns

I have written a number of self-contained Big Eyes, Small Mouths one-shot campaigns (approx. 4-6 hours to play each). They are available via my Patreon as a reward option for $10 backers (or for $15 and $30 backers who add an additional $5 to their pledge).

Each campaign contains:
  • Character and NPC images and maps
  • Quick rules sheet covering BESM basics for players
  • Detailed GM information, including more rule details and conditional encounters that cause the game to dramatically change depending on what characters the players choose
  • Everything you need to play except pencils, players, and dice!

BESM is a very beginner-friendly system designed for playing anime-inspired games, but I find it works well for any genre of high-energy, low-seriousness campaign, and especially well for mixing multiple genres. Sadly, it is now out of print, but as I said, each of the campaigns below contains everything you need to play, even if you’ve never played BESM–or any tabletop RPG–in your life!
